Abstract
With the increased globalization of education and culturally diverse communities, leaders need cultural intelligence to help them navigate new landscapes. This narrative study examined international school leaders’ understanding and experiences related to cultural intelligence. Eight leaders who were working in international schools participated in reflective journaling, photovoice annotations, and one-on-one interviews. Data highlighted the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and strategies school leaders use to develop cultural intelligence.
