Climate-Driven Departure and Racially Hostile Workplaces: Introducing New Concepts to Extend Discussions of Campus Climate and Employee Experiences

Abstract

This paper uses qualitative methods to examine new concepts related to campus climate. Using Critical Race Theory and Campus Climate literature, this research seeks to better understand and contextualize employee experiences in campus ecosystems. This research aims to fill a gap where administrators and staff are concerned. Insights drawn from this study can inform conceptualizations of inequities in campus workplaces and workforces.
