This research aims to analyze the pedagogical practices of Brazilian teachers who teach mathematics as part of a formative process that aims to favor equity in the teaching of statistical concepts. The study was carried out from March to August 2021, through an online professional learning community - PLC formed by researchers and teachers. The study presents the results regarding the pedagogical practice of four teachers from the 8th and 9th grades, from three public schools in Itabuna-Bahia, in Northeastern Brazil. During the study period, schools were experiencing emergency remote teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Data consisted of: a) responses to an online questionnaire, consisting of planning teaching sequences; b) semi-structured interviews with teachers; and, c) transcription of a reflective session held with teachers. Data were analyzed using Discursive Textual Analysis in order to understand and interpret the different practices performed by teachers. The results indicate that the pedagogical practices developed by the teachers made it possible to work with statistical concepts with the offer of various resources, such as: printed material, videos, Google Forms and school social networks in order to provide greater teaching equity. Throughout the process, teachers sought to provide conditions for students to achieve learning expectations prescribed in the curriculum and to use statistical concepts to think about the consumption of electricity in their homes. In conclusion, the pedagogical practices cogenerated, implemented, analyzed, and reflected upon during the PLC were based on the perspective of an investigative methodology and contributed to equity by favoring access to statistical concepts and to students' learning achievements for their lives.
