Abstract

The state of Jammu & Kashmir (India) for more than three decades is witnessing a continuous turmoil due to insurgency and terrorist attacks, forcing 3,50,000 Kashmiri Hindu community to flee from the Kashmir valley in the year 1990s.This ethnic cleansing led to the exodus of the Kashmiri Hindu community seeking refuge in Jammu and elsewhere in India. Displacement is one of the stark realities of this conflict. and the Kashmiri Pandits, being numerically the major victims.
