Abstract
Bringing together authors of a recent National Academy of Education report, this session provides commentary on issues and trends that impact civic reasoning and discourse in schools. Panelists will discuss challenges such school reopening and legislation restricting discussions of race, power, or privilege, as well as other emerging topics related to civic reasoning and discourse.
