Abstract

These five papers focus on preparing leaders who are anti-racist, culturally responsive, inclusive, and who better reflect the demographics of the students they serve. Across the five papers, attendees will learn about efforts to help pre-service leaders deconstruct current, oppressive leadership approaches; a pedagogy of discomfort; culturally responsive instructional leadership; perceptions about efforts to diversity leadership preparation; and anti-racist practices in leadership preparation, including efforts to measure students’ growth towards being social justice leaders.
