Abstract

This roundtable will convene education scholars who are studying district leadership in the face of multiple and competing demands for academic excellence, evidence-based decision-making and reform, inclusion and care. The roundtable will include paper submissions on a range of topics at the intersection of these demands, including: (a) developing district-level systems of care for students during the COVID-19 pandemic; (b) building inclusive structures and routines for district decision-making for special populations of students; (c) providing supervision and support on instructional leadership for school leaders; and (d) developing pipelines of district and school leaders prepared to support research-practice partnerships.
