Mixed Methods Research SIG Business Meeting

Abstract

All are welcome at the MMR SIG Business Meeting. In addition to our regular business, our agenda features presentations from our inaugural MMR SIG Writing Collaborative. We launched the Writing Collaborative in response to discussions at last year’s meeting. Its purpose was to extend opportunities for emerging scholars to discuss and address the challenges of writing about and publishing mixed methods research results and methodological contributions. Participants committed to attending monthly meetings with group discussion and independent writing components and developing a poster highlighting their growth as a mixed methods scholar (available on the MMR SIG Website). They will share their experiences and lead a discussion about future iterations of the Writing Collaborative.
