Abstract

This co-sponsored invited speaker session will bring together Division L, the Politics of Education Association SIG, and the Districts in Research and Reform SIG to consider the ever-changing politics and power dimensions of the current educational policy environment. Kevin Kumashiro will help lead this discussion with a variety of voices from students and scholars to highlight both polarizations and unifications and to consider tensions in our education spheres. Amidst the politics and polarization of pandemic schooling, we will aim to explore humanity and the possibilities that could result.
