Abstract

This panel will convene teachers from a range of schools and backgrounds to engage in conversations about the challenges and opportunities for anti-racist teaching during and after COVID-19. The pandemic has changed some aspects of teaching and schooling, while many pre-pandemic policies and practices have returned or remained in place. How has the context and practice of teaching changed for teachers committed to anti-racist and anti-oppressive pedagogy? How can the expertise and insights of practicing teachers inform research on teaching and teacher education, and how can educational research support the work of anti-racist teachers?
