Division E Fireside Chat: Networking in a Virtual World

Abstract

Are you a graduate student navigating the job market, or trying to figure out how to network in the midst of this new virtual world? Graduate students have experienced several disruptions to their education due to Covid-19, including restrictions that make meeting other researchers difficult to do in person. Division E’s fireside chat will provide graduate students with tools for navigating networking during the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to apply these tools as they build community with fellow graduate students and establish valuable connections in a supportive environment.
