American style post-racialism in teacher education, a cultural trend that works in tandem with the concepts of reverse racism and colorblindness, requires a discourse that is aggressively antagonistic to educators who engage in serious antiracist teaching. By serious antiracist teaching, I mean engaging in antiracism that shines a light on some of the hypocrisies of our current state of neoliberal diversity practices that leave existing systems of oppression unchanged. This antagonism toward antiracist educators, especially educators of Color, which I theorize as a type of anti-antiracism, is not just about white fragility, white emotionality, or a moral panic (Author, 2022).
