We collected 30 preliminary narratives around what action for change looks like from a diverse group of educational stakeholders, including public school students, teachers, parents, school and district leaders, thought leaders, and organizational leaders and analyzed our data with narrative research methods. We find that leaders who knowingly or unknowingly apply intersectionality frameworks in their work are effective at promoting equity through leadership, demonstrating how leaders might appear to utilize three specific forms of intersectionality.
