This study delves into the experiences of two Chinese language educators during the COVID-19 pandemic in transnational contexts. Drawing from personal reflections via a semi-structured interview, the paper explores the nuanced interplay between teacher-student interactions, pandemic policies, and external support in navigating challenges and well-being. As educators straddling cultural boundaries, our adaptability, positive outlook, and alignment with Chinese traditional philosophical tenets have been instrumental in overcoming challenges and gaining well-being.
