This paper explores the case study of one Black, female teacher who felt “pushed out” of the teaching profession. Her personal history entangles with histories of resegregation of the teaching profession following Brown v. Board. The paper seeks to conceptualize “Black teacher pushout” as a posthuman curriculum of resegregation, entangling personal and political histories, institutions, policies, disciplinary technologies, and power structures. It seeks to generalize to theory.
