Multiple Presenter Session: Panel

Abstract

This interactive session will bring together university-based researchers who have conducted collaborative research in their respective communities to document university expansion efforts and activists who have engaged with community members to combat displacement. We will utilize a case study-based format to explore the complex social interactions and decision-making practices of higher education institution leaders and examine the impact that university expansion efforts have on Black & Brown communities. Participants will actively engage in discussing contemporary scenarios, sharing perspectives, and brainstorming solutions.
