A Fireside Chat: Leading the Charge: Reconstructing Higher Education for a Multiracial Future

Abstract

This Fireside Chat with educational researchers, scholars, and theorists who have moved into educational leadership in higher education offers a unique opportunity for session attendees to interact with leaders in foundations of education who are now deans and associate deans of colleges and schools of education, assistant provosts, and associate vice presidents of (formerly diversity, equity, and inclusion and now) access and opportunity. The panel session is designed to open dialogue based on questions shared below and other questions that may arise given the context of what may be the next six months. The session chair will serve as moderator and have questions prepared, and audience members will be encouraged to ask questions of the panelists.
