Description for Program

In this session, access, equity, and empowerment matters related to mathematics education will be discussed. The discussion will include challenges faced by mathematics teacher educators in helping prospective and inservice teachers to attend to these issues beyond conversations and activities in courses and workshops. We will look at what has been accomplished over the past twenty-five years and what still needs to be done.
