Session Submission Type: APPAM Communities
The proposed community gathering will bring together individuals committed to using integrated service approaches to drive meaningful change for families and communities. In the current moment, collaboration across sectors is more essential than ever. One example is the two-generation (2Gen) model, which fosters intergenerational success by coordinating services that improve educational outcomes, economic stability, and health and well-being for every family member. However, you don’t need to be explicitly in the 2Gen field to join this conversation. Whether you’re involved in cross-sector coordination, co-located services, unified data systems, or any other partnership strategy that weaves supports together to meet community needs, this group is for you! Attendees will include practitioners, advocates, researchers, and policymakers. Key points of discussion will include: (1) practical challenges in implementing integrated services; (2) innovative strategies for human-centered programming; and (3) building sustainable cross-sector partnerships. The session will create opportunities for new connections and deliver actionable insights that attendees can apply to their work.
