Session Submission Type: Roundtable
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the landscape of public policy education and research, offering both immense promise and profound challenges. This session will bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners to explore how AI is transforming how we teach, learn, and produce policy-relevant knowledge.
Led bythe Institutional Reps, this session will help start a conversation about the emerging applications of AI in the classroom, how academic administration is providing support, how AI in data gathering, analysis and policy modeling is changing how research is performed and how we all need to continue to evolve in how we integrate AI into our classrooms and our research.
This session marks the first in a continuing series of APPAM institutional member conversations on AI’s role in shaping the future of policy education, research, and scholarship. Join us for this engaging discussion immediately following the Institutional Reps Meeting on Friday, November 14th, 7:30–8:30 AM at the Hyatt Regency Seattle (5th floor, Quinault Ballroom).
