Reflections on Democracy and Political Ignorance

Abstract

The presentation looks at how political ignorance informs the practice of democracy. Alternatives to current practices of voting are also considered including "voting with your feet." The implications of scholarly work on these topics are considered in relation to libertarianism's critiques of democracy.
