Session Description

This will be an author-meets-critics round table on Abe Singer's new book "The Form of the Firm: A Normative Political Theory of the Corporation" (Oxford UP, 2018). This work falls at the intersection of political theory and political economy where a considerable amount of very innovative research currently is occurring. It argues that we must consider firms as political entities: as implicated in relations of power and authority and hence of democratic governance. We aim to gather a group of primarily established scholars in law, business and political theory to critically discuss the creative, interdisciplinary work of a junior colleague.
