Session Description

The study of historical memory has been an interdisciplinary enterprise to which political science has been a late comer compared to the neighboring field of history and sociology. This panel brings together a set of actor-centric political science paper to explain a range of important political outcomes such as the contemporary upsurge in populism, the rise of democratic and anti-democratic movements, and the pursuit of historical justice for the victims of dictatorship.
