The Dynamics of Climate Policy Support in the US

Session Description
Climate change poses considerable risk to society today and demands various forms of adaptive and mitigative policy action. This panel discusses the dynamics of support for climate policies such as carbon pricing and carbon dioxide extraction. We discuss how both political elites and the general public think about these issues, and examine whether understanding of climate science or other societal factors affect opinions for such policies.
