Session Submission Type: TLC Full Paper Panel
This panel will bring together experts who have worked in online learning in pursuit of developing modes of learning which engage students independent of their country of origin to build a global learning community. Focusing primarily on teaching international relations and diplomacy this panel will address how we teach to students of varying backgrounds, experiences and cultures and engage them in a global conversation. With case studies from experienced academics and those who practice diplomacy this panel looks at the benefits a difficulties of engaging with a particular focus on overcoming attainment gaps of traditionally disadvantaged groups within western society and for students in the Global South.
