Session Submission Type: Created Panel
Many countries in sub-Saharan Africa are currently receding from violence. The papers on this panel examine various aspects of political life in post-conflict settings, and for those who emigrated due to conflict, including non state goods provision through NGOs, the standing of returning political elites, as well on-going low-scale violence through political vigilantism. Together, the papers span Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, and South Sudan.
