Session Description

Civic Engagement is best taught not by lectures or textbooks but by doing politics in even its mildest forms like service learning. This panel focuses upon how to structure classes in political science and public administration so that students can act socially and politically both on campus and locally. It is especially useful for those starting to add service learning or civic engagement into their courses or curriculum.
