Recruiting and Supporting Faculty of Color

Session Description

This panel will focus on the challenges of recruiting and retaining faculty of color, and offer strategies that can be employed at the department level, the college level, and the institutional level to address this. Presenters will discuss best practices in hiring, ways to create a campus climate that welcomes faculty of color, and identify specific institutional changes college leaders may make to promote equity and inclusion among faculty.
