Civil society organizations and philanthropic enterprises have the power to represent citizen voices and interests in the public policy process. These entities have the potential to redress political inequalities - or to reinforce them. This panel examines these twin possibilities in the domestic and international spheres through the activities of voluntary associations and corporations.
