Eric Voegelin on Law

Abstract

The paper will consider Eric Voegelin’s writings on law, a subject that appears at various places in his work, and especially in Volume 27 of The Collected Works. Voegelin’s take on the subject is his own, but also draws on other sources. The paper will compare Voegelin’s approach to law, and especially natural law, with that of certain other thinkers.
