Session Description

How will redistricting look in the upcoming decade, the first after the United States Supreme Court decided that partisan gerrymandering claims cannot be brought in federal court? What role will the delayed census count play in the process? What will courts do if some jurisdictions draw districts with equal numbers of citizens rather than people? What role will Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act play in 2020s redistricting? This panel considers these questions and more.
