Chinese Politics Mini-Conference
Since its inception in 2016, the Chinese Politics Mini-Conference has facilitated connections and community building across the Chinese politics field. In the 2026 mini-conference, which marks its eleventh anniversary, we build on the existing tradition by featuring a set of theoretically and methodologically diverse papers, presented by scholars across ranks and global academic affiliations. The research presented at this conference will focus on issues in domestic politics, drawing on historical, contemporary, and emerging phenomenon to make sense of Chinese politics today.
