Session Submission Type: Roundtable
In this interactive, engaged, roundtable discussion, panelists will share the innovative ways they have used civic and community engagement in their teaching and research. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Charity Butcher, co-editor of the forthcoming book “The Palgrave Handbook of Teaching and Research in Political Science,” and attendees are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time, via chat during presentations, and during Q&A after the presentations. Attendees will leave the panel with new ideas, resources, and even collaborators, as well as deeper appreciation for the value that civic and community engagement can add to both teaching and research.
