About Annual Meeting
This presentation is focused on the results of a student-led action research project focused on assessing gender and relationship norms and beliefs among students at a small private college in New England. Faculty teaching the Social Research and Gender Studies classes collaborated to develop overlapping curricula centered around a student-led action research project focused on gender perceptions, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors focused on student-prioritized areas of on campus athletics, health and wellness, and dating and intimacy. The study-design process and the study’s results will be reported and contextualized within the current focus on experiences, policy, and student organizing around sexual misconduct on US college campuses will be discussed.
