Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X: Converging Approaches

Abstract

There has been a tendency to see King and Malcolm X as the two poles of their time: at odds in their beliefs and their rhetoric. This paper argues that when faced with similar issues and problems, their thinking, goals, strategies and rhetoric came closer to one another.
