Abstract
Sociologists often hope that their work will influence public policy. Yet, the policy arena can be a fast-paced and chaotic environment. All of the panelists have extensive experience in seeking to use their work to influence policy. Speakers will share the successes and challenges involved in translating sociological insights for public policy makers.
