Abstract

The audience for your work is waiting to hear from you. In this workshop you'll learn how to use social media (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, blogging platforms, etc.) to build a platform for your research, your teaching, and your service. Social media can be the conduit through which you share your work with the general public, other scholars, policy makers, and the media. You will learn about strategies for building an audience, honing your skills as a communicator, and injecting your work into the public discourse around your area of research."
