This study aims to understand how the dance mediates body relations in Catholic charismatic renewal religious context in Brazil. To build up this view, it was necessary to seek for the development of studies in different areas of knowledge. Authors such as Le Breton (2012) and Mauss (1974) are used to develop this assay. Throughout this paper, we tried to point out the reflection paths on religious dance, offering a reading from the body of the subject. Some issues got a greater focus, which are evident in religious context, as the relationship with the sacred, and in Catholic charismatic renewal context, such as social interaction.
