About Annual Meeting
Drawing primarily on an examination of documents for 80 sexual harassment lawsuits litigated by the EEOC on behalf of immigrants, this paper applies an intersectionality framework to examine (a) how the intersection of race, national origin, class, gender and immigration status are important for analyzing and remedying the mistreatment of immigrant women workers, and (b) how the operation of these multiple interlocking vectors of inequality plays out in EEOC handling of the lawsuits.
