The online dating industry has grown exponentially over the past decade, providing multiple platforms for users of all sexualities to establish contact with mates of all descriptions. Sociologists have turned their attentions to dating sites from theoretical, empirical and methodological perspectives. This roundtable draws together researchers engaged in the study of diverse phenomena via online dating platforms to discuss, primarily, but not exclusively, research methods.
