About Annual Meeting
This research project is attempting to map the social media semantic networks related to the Lima Climate Change Conference of December 2014. The goal is to illustrate the conceptual crossover points between different publics, in which political or cultural orientation is not based on self-identified survey responses, but instead based on a position within the discovered semantic network. The framing of climate change science through the use of the discovered crossover concepts can then be empirically tested to see if they result in improved dissemination of climate change science to the broad public. At this stage I would like to engage in an informal roundtable discussion of the research process.
