Abstract

In honor of the 2015 Meeting theme on “Sexualities in the Social World” this session includes papers on research within the sociology of medicine, health, and illness that explore dimensions of sex and sexualities. This session includes theoretical and empirical research and critical reflection at the intersections of biomedicine, sexuality, and health. Papers include discussions of the regulation, production, and navigation and of sex and sexuality in and through biomedicine and health.
