Session Submission Type: Invited Session
This invited session offers a unique opportunity for researchers to learn about rich data sources for studying work, organizations and inequality. The panel will show case the kind of research projects and data available for researchers by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Federal of Contractor Compliance Programs. Both agencies are responsible for overseeing employers’ nondiscrimination practices and outcomes and can offer a variety of quantitative and qualitative data source for academics to explore. Panelists are EEOC and OFCCP officials and investigators as well as sociologists working with their data.
