In Mexico, labor conditions are characterized by: job insecurity, loss of buying power due to inflation rate, bad condition of contracts and reduction of benefits. In this country, as in many developing countries, inequity is in all aspects of the life. Mexico has States with better quality and quantity of employment than others with worse labor conditions. In general, stable employment has decreased over the years, however, the problem is different in each State.
In this research the labor conditions of the country will be analyzed by State to calculate an index of stable employment and to evaluate how this has changed over the years, since 2005 until now, by using a multivariate method that will stablish patterns that allow make groups with similar labor conditions according to selected variables.
