Abstract

This paper analyzes how market dynamics between industry segments affect distributor entrepreneurs in the beer industry. It makes a causal claim that increased producer number contributed to decreased wholesaler number, and explores the market conditions under which partnership as a legal form can be a viable form of organizing in a deconcentrating market and explore the local spatial mechanisms that produce the identified trends.
