Collective Dialogue and the Ethics of Caring: The Case for a Black Feminist Methodology

Abstract

This paper will make the case for a methodology based in a Black Feminist Epistemology. I will explore the four core tenets of Black Feminist Epistemology and how I have applied them to create a Black Feminist Methodology. I will offer case examples from my dissertation work exploring the lived experiences of Black women with advanced cancer.
