Session Submission Type: Workshop
Concerns about the replicability, robustness, and integrity of quantitative social science has led to increasing recognition of the importance of doing reproducible research in social science. While assent to the importance of reproducible work is broad in principle, what to do in practice--and how and why to do it--can be more elusive. This workshop covers practices in workflow, documentation, and archiving both data and code for use by other scholars. Concrete, seasoned recommendations for the efficient and effective data analyst will be provided at every turn.
