Description

Although writing clearly is a crucial element in public sociology, most sociologists receive limited instruction on how to become a good writer. This workshop will help sociologists consider a variety of ways in which they can improve their writing. It also will encourage audience members to form writing groups and find other ways to get feedback on their writing.

Description

This workshop will provide strategies for sociologists to write clearly. It will discuss some common pitfalls in writing. It will discuss the process of finding a "voice." The workshop also will provide other writing resources.
