Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the section, the Communication, Information Technologies, and Media Sociology section of the American Sociological Association (CITAMS) welcomes papers on the history, present and future of Communication, Information Technologies, and Media Sociology, its place and role in sociology, the academe and the society. Each paper presented at this session is also invited to be considered in the yearly CITAMS special issue of the Journal of Information, Communication and Society.
