Using Family Migration Histories to Facilitate the Teaching of International Migration from a Global Perspective

Abstract

This paper describes how I incorporated a family migration history project into an international migration course as a means of assisting undergraduate students to develop the knowledge and intellectual tools required to integrate local and global understandings of human movement.
